Description

Devereux’s Foster Care Programs provide therapeutic, family‑based care for children and adolescents who have experienced trauma, emotional or behavioral challenges, or instability in their home environments. These programs partner with the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) and local lead agencies to recruit, train, and support therapeutic foster parents who can meet the complex needs of youth requiring more than traditional foster care. Foster families receive ongoing specialized training, clinical consultation, and behavioral support tools so they can implement strategies that promote safety, stability, and positive behavioral change. Clinicians work closely with children, caregivers, and support systems to create individualized treatment plans, provide counseling, and build life and coping skills.
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing clinical leadership, oversight, and day-to-day management of the Therapeutic Foster Care program in Sarasota County. This position supervises a team of therapists, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, ethical, and effective clinical services. You will provide timely and meaningful performance feedback, sets clear expectations, and supports staff development through coaching, modeling, prompts, praise, and recognition. This role includes conducting observations, offering constructive feedback, and providing ongoing coaching to help therapists achieve and maintain competency in required clinical skills. In addition to clinical supervision, the Clinical Supervisor manages daily program operations, ensures compliance with program standards and organizational policies, and promotes best practices in service delivery.
Position Details:
Pay Range: Starts at $ 60,000 - 68,400 /annual. (compensation based on experience)
Location: Hybrid/community based (goes into individuals' homes)-Sarasota, Manatee, & DeSoto counties

Qualifications
Education:
- Master's degree in the field of counseling, social work, or psychology required
- Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Florida required.
Experience:
- Two to three years of clinical supervisory-level experience preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Valid Driver's license
- Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Test and TB Test.
