Position Details:

• Work within a team to design, develop, test, document and support software applications and embedded software.
• Write clean, well-formed, well-tested and maintainable software following accepted coding standards.
• Work closely with internal and external customers to gather new software requirements or understand current software bugs before developing / updating software to meet their needs.
• Re-write custom applications written in outdated or undesired languages in C#/.Net or other modern languages.
• Write and/or maintain software that gathers data from various hardware interfaces before analyzing and storing data in databases, files or other storage media.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 3 years of programming experience
• Strong experience with Microsoft C#/.Net
• Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with SQL query languages
• Experience with software repositories such as Bitbucket/Git
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong written communication skills
• Strong ability/willingness to interact with assemblers, engineers and customers
• Willingness/desire to learn

Physical Demands:

• Normal working conditions absent extreme factors 
• Must be able to see well enough to read reports, send emails, etc.
• Must be able to hear and speak well enough to communicate with customers and fellow employees 
• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs periodically
• Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing

• Data acquisition in manufacturing environments
• Writing queries in Microsoft SQL/MySQL/Oracle SQL
• Previous usage of Oracle E-Business Suite
• Web development using HTML/PHP/Javascript
• National Instruments Labview application development
• Matlab GUI/AppDesigner programming
• Matlab Image Processing
• Linux/Debian/Ubuntu
• Borland C++
• Python
• Raspberry Pi/Arduino
• Excel Visual Basic for Applications
