The George L. Argyros College of Business and Economics at Chapman University invites applications for a non-tenure track, Instructor or Clinical Assistant Professor of Management Science beginning January 2, 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Teach eight undergraduate and/or graduate courses (24 credits total) annually (August - May) in area of expertise.
  • Actively contribute as an integral member of the Argyros College faculty by engaging in department and university service as expected of a non-tenure track faculty member.
  • Plan, develop, and deliver high-quality courses.
  • Offer regular office hours to provide students with opportunities for one-on-one consultations, academic advising, and clarification of course materials.
  • Participate in advising for students, helping them select appropriate courses and develop academic plans.
  • Contribute to the overall mission of the institution by attending program meetings and supporting campus-wide initiatives and events.
  • Serve on academic committees or task forces within the institution, contributing to discussions and decisions related to academic policies, curriculum development, and other relevant matters.

Qualifications

Applicants with experience in any of the following areas are encouraged to apply: economics, information systems, or other data science-related fields.

An MBA or Doctoral Degree in a related field as well as an outstanding record of professional achievement are required.  

Teaching experience is preferred.
