Job Description

As a Security Professional Industrial Access Specialist in Catawba, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in access control, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. You will remain highly visible to provide a reassuring presence and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and professionalism. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your duties. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Assist with the implementation of security-related procedures and site-specific policies to help maintain order within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors, employees, and contractors as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with site personnel and first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements; driving experience is preferred for primarily driving posts.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
