JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Department of Geosciences in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences at Penn State is seeking an Administrative Support Coordinator to assist with administrative and financial functions while providing excellent customer service.
What You’ll Do:
Manage complex operational administrative activities within the department.
Supervise financial staff.
Serve as the Department’s ASRO Coordinator.
Coordinate post-award administration.
Serve as backup to Promotion and Tenure staff.

Experience using financial and human resources information systems such as Workday, SIMBA, SAP Concur, or similar systems.
Required Qualifications:
This position typically requires an Associate Degree or higher plus three years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
