A day in the life.
As a Marketing Specialist at Marsh McLennan Agency Private Client Services, you'll:
- Provide essential support in various marketing and communications functions. Reporting to the National Marketing Leader for PCS
- Your role will encompass the creation of content for marketing collateral, internal communications, growth and sales enablement initiatives, client retention projects, and Request for Proposal support.
- You will work both independently and collaboratively with team members. We seek an organized, proactive team player with superior writing skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to exceeding the expectations of both internal and external clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and develop compelling marketing materials, website copy, presentations, and product/service guides for various audiences.
- Collaborate with marketing teammates to support marketing campaigns and projects to drive additional revenue and growth.
- Conduct market research and monitor industry trends and behaviors.
- Write content for blogs, social posts, email campaigns, and more that engage our target audiences.
- Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all collateral and content.
- Assist in crafting internal communications, including newsletters, announcements, and memos, to keep employees informed and engaged.
- Assist in managing and implementing online internal initiatives.
- Support the sales team by creating sales collateral, such as product guides, case studies, and presentations, to empower them in their prospect and referral source interactions.
- Perform support duties including but not limited to: database management, reporting and analytics.
- Develop content for and manage the distribution of an advisor-focused newsletter.
- Work closely with the client services team to identify opportunities for improving client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Execute projects and campaigns aimed at retaining, upselling, and cross-selling to existing clients, such as client newsletters and focused communications.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to respond to RFPs, ensuring the completion of high-quality proposals that align with client needs and company objectives.
- Manage RFP documentation and track progress to meet deadlines.
- Execute tasks and projects with minimal supervision, demonstrating a proactive and self-driven approach.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
- Assist in managing existing vendor relationships and vetting new vendors.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
- Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, business or related area, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant marketing experience.
- Strong project management skills.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience writing and editing blogs, content campaigns, and/or other thought leadership content.
- Flexibility to adjust work schedule according to workload demands.
- Demonstrated capabilities to handle tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and the ability to find creative solutions.
- Experience working with executives and leaders.
- Proactive and positive style.
- Exercises confidentiality and discretion.
- Team player, willing to contribute whenever needed to accomplish goals and meet deadlines.
- Results-oriented and solution-focused with a problem-solving attitude.
These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
- Experience in insurance or financial industry marketing.
- Familiarity with CRM software and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce and Pardot.<
