Assists Rehab Services therapists in providing patient care and treatment with occasional guidance. Maintains equipment and supplies in inventory and prepare patient treatment area according to department policies and procedures.

Schedule: PRN | 8-hour shifts | Average 20+ hours/week | Preferably includes 1 weekend day

This PRN opportunity is perfect for a healthcare support professional who’s curious about a future career in rehabilitation. While most of the work is behind the scenes, your impact will be felt throughout the hospital—ensuring therapy spaces are safe, clean, and fully equipped for care.

What You’ll Do:

  • Locate, clean, and restock therapy equipment across inpatient and outpatient areas

  • Manage inventory and supply stocking to keep therapy spaces running smoothly

  • Support patient care as needed

  • Collaborate closely with therapists and rehab staff to ensure seamless operations

Who You Are:

  • A reliable, organized, and proactive team player

  • Ideally a current healthcare support staff member

  • Interested in exploring a career in pediatric rehabilitation

Qualifications:

  • No certification required

  • Preferred experience in healthcare support, pediatrics, or inventory management

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains and prepares supplies and equipment.

  • Supports patient care.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES

  • Compliance (Fundamental Awareness): Demonstrates and basic knowledge of the core rules, regulations, instructions and guidelines as they apply to assignments. Knows who to go to for further explanation and support. Understands which bodies regulate the industry.

  • Diagnostic Equipment (Novice): Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate the use of diagnostic tools in practical applications of moderate difficulty.

  • Inventory Control (Fundamental Awareness): Has limited experience, training, direct exposure, or past experience working with inventory control.
