Job Description Summary

The GE Aerospace Field Service Representative (FSR) will provide on-site support and technical assistance to the customer T700 engine depot activities located in Deblin, Poland. The position requires a deep understanding of the T700 engine and depot maintenance policies and practices. While in this role, the FSR will act as the liaison between GE Aerospace and the customer. The FSR will provide detailed assistance to the customer establishment of depot activities utilizing best practices and FLIGHT DECK principals and tools to support the T700 engine.

Role Overview:
As a Field Service Representative, you will act as the single point of contact for customers, providing timely and satisfactory resolution of concerns related to the maintenance, repair, and management of T700 engines. This full-time role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong customer interaction skills, and the ability to ensure production schedules are met. In this role you will play a critical role in supporting GE Aerospace’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the single point of contact for customers, ensuring timely resolution of concerns related to T700 engines.
  • Establish and maintain on-site contact to provide ongoing technical and business support to assigned customers.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of engine repair and maintenance practices and troubleshooting to help customers quickly resolve issues and maintain production schedules.
  • Execute contract deliverables that meet production schedules while closely ensuring safety of operations.
  • Propose solutions outside of set parameters to address complex maintenance and troubleshooting processes.
  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and lead small projects with low risk and resource requirements.
  • Utilize Salesforce to report benefits provided to customers and track customer interactions.
  • Convey performance expectations and handle sensitive issues while fostering consensus among team members.
  • Provide interpretation of data and technical instructions to the customer.
  • Offer technical assistance in identifying and using special tools and best practices for T700 engine maintenance.
  • Develop and recommend informal training programs to support maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
  • Assist with fault analysis, malfunction reports, and maintenance problem resolution while maintaining a focus on system safety.
  • Review maintenance actions to identify training needs or deficiencies and improve practices.
  • Support logistics tasks, including work scope reviews, maintenance scheduling, data recording, and hardware tracking.
  • Apply FLIGHT DECK operating model principles to root cause analysis, issue resolution, and trend analysis.
  • Demonstrate best methods for disassembling, repairing, and assembling engines and components.
  • Draft and submit clear and concise field event reports to GE Product Support Engineering (PSE) and internal program managers.
  • Proactively engage in activities aimed at reducing customer cost of ownership and increasing availability.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional with advanced experience in T700 engine maintenance particularly at the depot level of maintenance. They possess strong analytical and communication skills, thrive in international customer environments, and are committed to driving customer satisfaction and product performance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent (or a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a field service/maintenance position as a Military Field Service Representative).
