As the Plant Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in the future of our North Aurora manufacturing facility, overseeing a dedicated team of approximately 170 employees.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovate and Implement: Collaborate with the PLT to design and execute cutting-edge operations and processes, prioritizing safety, quality, service, and cost-efficiency.
  • Leadership Excellence: Guide and inspire your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Strategic Oversight: Lead the plant’s continuous improvement plan, conducting regular reviews with the PLT to assess progress, analyze challenges, facilitate solutions, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Problem Solver: Identify and address operational issues, ensuring smooth and efficient plant operations.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business or related field with seven (7) years of manufacturing operations management or leadership assignments demonstrating a progression of increased scope and responsibility
    • ​​An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 
  • Five (5) years of experience managing employees with supervisory responsibilities
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in planning, resource allocation, cost analysis and budgeting, people management, and leadership guidance
  • Displays strong interpersonal skills and is accessible and approachable
  • Ability to be on-call 24/7
  • Prior Plant Manager experience, preferred
  • Experience managing multi-shift or continuous operations, preferred
  • Paper converting, chemical or plastics processing, or packaging industrial experience, preferred
  • Lean manufacturing experience, preferred
