Job Description
The Team
The Technical Services Team at Nexthink comprises individuals focused on data collection, analysis, communication, and remediation of issues and potential issues affecting corporate employees' flow of work while using laptops, desktops, and virtual computing devices to do their jobs. As part of this diverse team, you will work with our customers to drive consumption, adoption, and customer satisfaction and help our customers grow their digital transformation using and interpreting the data that the Nexthink Platform provides.
This role is part of the Professional Services Organizations Expert Services practice within Technical Services. This practice functions as technical experts and trusted advisors to a select group of customers who value deep analysis of end-user computing devices and experts who can tell a story and drive outcomes using Nexthink. We are looking for motivators, problem solvers, and original thinkers like you to join our team.
The Role
The primary location for this role is in our US Headquarters in Boston, MA; however, we are open to hiring across any location in the Continental United States where Nexthink has a concentration of customers and/or potential customers. Travel expectation for this role is 20% annually.
The Nexthink Business Process Consultant is a trusted advisor to the customer, assisting in the visualization and interpretation of Nexthink Data to transform business decision-making, improving their employee's ability to do their jobs using digital technology.

- Be recognized as an expert by your assigned customers and peers on Nexthink and the use of Nexthink data and capabilities to drive measurable financial and operational efficiencies.
- Influence customers' enterprise IT (Information Technology) business decisions at all levels of an organization using your proven data analytics and presentation skills.
- Collaborate with customers in their efforts to integrate Nexthink Data and capabilities in their current IT processes.
- Assist customers as a “seat at the table,” providing leadership during their organizational and operational change process necessary for adopting Nexthink in their daily activities.
- Architect a detailed design strategy leading to high-value initial opportunities as well as a long-term maturity roadmap of continuous improvement using Nexthink.
- Mentors and coaches' other Nexthink Professional Services Consultants
- Lead the collection and development of data-driven user stories.
- Work and travel based on customer and project demands.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in computer science, technology, or mathematics
- Preferred: Advanced degree and/or contemporary post-graduate certificates focused on business and/or data analytics preferred
- 10+ years in a software consulting and management consulting role with a deep data analytics focus.
- Preferred experience: (Working with or functioning as a lead data analyst/architect for an enterprise IT organization.)
- Proven use of business analytics, operating system manipulation, and data visualization tools to perform insights and analysis on varied data (Tableau, Salesforce Einstein Analytics, Birst, PowerShell, bash, SQL, etc.)
- At ease presenting to senior IT leaders and peers, defending your data and recommendations.
- Demonstrated quick learner—the ability to quickly grasp and build on complex and abstract concepts, turning innovative ideas into high-value outcomes.
- Working in a consulting environment and/or with customers to understand and achieve business goals using data.
- Preferred experience: This role is part of a billable consulting organization. Experience participating in an organization that is funded through billing your work time back to a customer and/or charging back time and effort to internal departments is desirable.
