Senior Analyst, Retail Budget

As a Senior Analyst on the Retail Center of Excellence Team, you will set the pace for sales. You will bridge sales reporting and budgets to retail, ensuring executional accuracy and insights-driven decisions. You will be the key source for retail execution data. This hybrid role is based in Chicago, IL.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

• Business Analysis and Updates - Identify connections and patterns to uncover opportunities and share your findings. Manage, develop, deploy, and integrate all POS reporting, which is crucial as it provides daily retail sales information for our Sales team
• Providing Insights - Become the expert on our sales reporting and budgeting process. Collaborate with IT to review data and business trends, ensuring accuracy in all reporting.
• Collaboration – Collaborate with cross-functional partners to enhance and streamline POS reporting and retail hierarchy governance. Work with Finance and Sales teams to simplify and standardize the monthly sales budget process, communication, and payout. Partner with IT to integrate data into systems like Tableau and Power BI.

 

 We’re Looking for Someone With

 

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities, extended work schedules, and specific time constraints 
• Advanced Microsoft Excel user with analytical work experience and efficiency working in Microsoft Office (Power Point and MS Teams) 
• Experience with data manipulation tools such as Power BI and Tableau
• Communicate complex information to diverse audiences with varying functions and knowledge levels, both in writing and verbally
• Ability to manage multiple, sometimes conflicting priorities within specific time constraints.

• Understanding and working knowledge of Nielsen reporting, R or Python, and experience with retail sales platforms like StayInFront, SAP BW (Business Warehouse), Access, and TDlinx.
