About the role

As an enrollment programs manager, you'll work closely with the associate director of enrollment events to create and implement pre-college program marketing strategies that target the desired audience, promotes accurate program awareness, and results in quality enrollments. To do so, you'll leverage both print and online tools to ensure initiatives reach the broadest pool of right-fit prospective participants. Throughout the marketing cycle and beyond, you will also maintain an open line of communication with all prospective participants and their parents. Planning of program logistics, workshops, and programming also falls under the enrollment programs manager's purview.

 

In this role, you will supervise a team of pre-college assistants and student ambassadors and hire outstanding leaders, all of which you'll train to assist with enrollment events and pre-college programs. You'll also be responsible for the wellbeing of 1,200 pre-college program participants. Across each program, you'll determine and secure needs such as classroom space, physical resources, transportation, and the like, and will negotiate contracts with relevant vendors. Assistance with the pre-college programs budget and coordination with staff across university departments will also be part of the day to day activities, as will occasional virtual recruitment duties through LiveAgent shifts, information sessions, daily tour assistance, and domestic and global travel. Attendance at major events is a must for the person in this role, as you'll serve as an outstanding representative of SCAD.

 

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and Hometown Hero programs will fall under your assigned areas, as well as assistance with the student LEAD Conference, SCAD Day, Spotlight Days, and SCAD Challenge. Through these programs, you'll assist with the hiring of around 60 instructors, serve as the main on-call staff member during emergencies, and manage the entire application process for pre-college programs. You'll be responsible for developing reports on the program's demographics, effectiveness, budget, etc., and for disseminating information about program policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • At least one of year of relevant professional experience
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, and to all SCAD locations, as needed

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of SCAD and its resources, programs, organization, etc.
  • Professional project management experience

 

Certificates, licenses, and registrations: Valid driver's license

  • Valid passport

 

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
