Job Description:
As the Senior Manager of Operational Finance, ME, you will:
•Drive the budgeting, forecasting, and measurement of operational plans alongside field operations.
•Be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial data.
•Understand field performance, key drivers of results, and speak to variances.
•Identify opportunities to improve financial process and implement change.
You will need to be a strategic thinker with strong analytical and cross-functional partnering skills. Attention to detail and the ability to solve ad-hoc questions are key!

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
•Develop and implement financial planning processes for field operations.
•Analyze financial data, trends, and KPI to provide insights and opportunities.
•Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with overall business initiatives.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
•Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for field operations.
•Monitor and report on budget variances, work with business partners to provide explanations.
•Work closely with operational teams to develop accurate budget projections.
Financial Compliance:
•Ensure field teams are completing necessary budgeting and forecasting responsibilities timely
•Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
•Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
Team Management:
•Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support.
•Develop your and teach your team.
•Conduct performance reviews and identify opportunities for professional development.
Financial Reporting:
•Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports for field operations to senior management.
•Communicate financial results, forecasts, and trends to relevant stakeholders.
•Generate ad-hoc reports as needed for decision-making purposes.
Process Improvement:
•Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
•Implement best practices and streamline financial workflows.
•Drive initiatives to automate manual processes where applicable.
Vendor Management:
•Collaborate with procurement teams to negotiate and manage vendor contracts.
•Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to financial agreements.
•Optimize vendor relationships to achieve cost savings.
Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
•Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
•Proven experience in financial management, preferably in a field operations or similar role.
•Experience partnering with and measuring sales and marketing initiatives.
•Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting.
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
•Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
•Experience with ERP systems (Hyperion) is a plus.
•Experience with dashboard systems (Power BI) is a plus.
