Position Summary
Performs repetitive plumbing and mechanical assembly or simple electromechanical assembly involving sensitive or precise dexterous movements to maintain pace and quality of assembly work.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks
- Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality and completes all position and site safety training
- Performs tasks of Machine Builder.
- Receives components or items for assembly and/or test in programmed sequence
- Assembles mechanical or electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination
- Assembles all variations of in-house standard products
- Follows assembly/test instructions, e.g., color code, pvc solvent welding and thread taping.
- Uses simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures
- Enter work hours in ERP system (Currently SAP), if applicable to site
- Completes required documentation relative to production and quality
- Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities.
- Will plumb variations of standard and custom products
- Occasionally assist with in house plumbing mechanical work
- Update and redline drawings as required
- May read and interpret blueprints (product specific)
- Maintains equipment and area in a clean safe condition
- Take care of internal and external customer needs and expectations
Position Requirements
1. FORMAL EDUCATION:
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
2. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints (if applicable)
- Proficient in the use of hand
