POSITION:                Senior Engineer (7508925)

JOB LOCATION:      10353 Richmond Ave, Houston, TX 77042

 

DUTIES: Perform advanced Site-Specific Analyses (SSA-E) and other specialized analysis for offshore jack-up rigs in support of the design and construction of such rigs in the offshore Oil & Gas (O&G) and offshore Construction industries. Responsible for sales support in the Americas, moving initial contacts into leads through the knowledge of GustoMSC’s specialist processes and other NOV offerings and by providing niche jack-up technology capabilities in support to such clients. Engage with clients and secure new business and sale of jack-up design licenses, engineering consultancy services and equipment contracts. Responsible for local market intelligence gathering and expansion of local network of relevant stakeholders through external representation of the company to clients in the Americas in his areas of expertise. Visit clients and participate in industry conferences and committees such as those from the International Association of Drilling contractors (IADC), the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME).       

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Civil Engineering and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience in a related occupation performing Site- Specific Assessments (SSA-E) for jackups; and engaging with clients to secure new business in jack-up design, engineering consultancy services and equipment sales.
