Job Description
Mechanical Engineering Student Employees are responsible for tasks and projects under the direction of lead development engineers that are focused on the development, design, analysis, testing, prototyping, and release of mechanical hardware for automation control products. This will include 3D modeling/designing/documenting various aspects of component and subsystem designs of low voltage drive product which will include lab testing, prototype evaluation and technology investigations. You will also be expected to utilize the latest engineering and design tools from PTC (Creo 3D modeling, Vuforia Studio Augmented Reality, Microsoft HoloLens) that will assist to create and visualize design projects. You will also learn various manufacturing process (Sheet metal forming, Plastic injection molding, and electrical design) to support the design teams.
You will have the opportunity to be a significant contributor, while getting comprehensive exposure to the business structure of Rockwell Automation and how we are helping our customers bring the Connected Enterprise to life.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
Must be pursuing an associates, bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university
Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future.

Strong communication skills - verbal and written
Strong ability to work on a team
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
3d printing exposure
Usage of 3d cad software

For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $20- $32. Our benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
