Position Purpose

This position is responsible for providing custom software solutions to the organization. The Software Developer will use their knowledge of programming languages to determine needs, design software programs, code, and test software solutions to meet business unit and member needs.

Essential Duties

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and business units to identify end user requirements and specifications.
• Participate in all development aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analysis, design, testing, code review, and deployment.
• Perform maintenance for all systems and applications created and maintained by the software development department.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and implement effective solutions.
• Assist with resolving any software or hardware problems that affect members and/or operations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for programs and created systems.
• Research technical problems and suggest improvements for web applications.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Education/Experience

• High School graduate: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related field OR a combination of education and relative experience.
• 2 years' experience in Software Development
