Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual to join CLEAResult as a Senior Commercial Field Specialist. As a Senior Commercial Field Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality field services, supporting commercial energy‑efficiency projects, and serving as an on‑site representative to customers and contractors.

In this position, you will install energy‑efficient equipment, conduct field audits and verifications, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide training and guidance to field staff. Your work will directly support our mission to reduce energy use, improve performance in commercial buildings, and support clients in achieving their energy‑savings goals.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Training & Technical Leadership (30%)

  • Train field staff on proper installation, configuration, and adaptation of energy‑efficient equipment.
  • Develop training materials, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide technical advice and hands‑on guidance in accordance with client and program specifications.

Energy Audits, QA/QC, and Verification (20%)

  • Conduct energy audits for complex and large‑scale commercial buildings.
  • Perform pre‑ and post‑installation verifications to ensure equipment performance and compliance.
  • Review field data electronically and validate entries in the program database.

Program & Project Support (25%)

  • Support Account Managers in influencing stakeholders to adopt energy‑efficient retrofits or new‑construction measures.
  • Provide regular updates to program staff regarding project scope, progress, and product effectiveness.
  • Offer technical expertise to help identify, analyze, and resolve project‑related issues.

Field Work & Travel (20%)

  • Travel throughout a defined territory to perform on‑site visits, field inspections, and installations.
  • Represent CLEAResult as an on‑site liaison with commercial and small‑business customers.

Additional Duties (5%)

  • Perform miscellaneous responsibilities that support the program, team, and client needs.

Key Skills:

  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment or installation challenges
  • Experience conducting commercial energy audits or field verifications
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Strong documentation, data‑entry, and record‑keeping skills
  • Ability to work independently in the field and collaborate with program teams
  • Customer‑service mindset with a professional and solutions‑oriented approach
  • Comfort with travel and field‑based work
