We believe in rewarding and recognizing individual performances within highly professional teams supported by our distinctive values.</p><p>We offer an exciting and attractive career in an ambitious and competitive environment with the possibility of continuous professional and personal development across a world class organization.</p><p></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Monitoring regulatory changes and ensuring implementation in the organization.</li><li>Participate and carry out external and internal audits.</li><li>Propose, participate, and lead customs related projects.</li><li>Support the Customs Delivery organization as a subject matter expert.</li><li>Work actively with risk management and report deviations.</li><li>Support the Country Compliance Managers in the Area.</li><li>Initiating and/or attending meetings with customers and authorities.</li><li>Monitor and follow up on customs claims on a country level.</li><li>Communication with authorities.</li><li>Participate/lead in certifications/audits of quality assurance programs (AEO, ISO, etc.)</li><li>Support the Quality Control Audit Process.</li><li>Support the Customs Transit Process.</li><li>Ensure that relevant permits and guarantees are in place and complied with in each country.</li><li>Appeals and statements to authorities.</li><li>Assist the organization with the adaptation and implementation of internal procedures.</li><li>Manage and apply for relevant permits and certifications.</li></ul><p></p><p>What we are looking for:</p><ul><li>Speaks fluent Dutch and English</li><li>Can work as individual as well as in teams.</li><li>Can prioritize task and multitask at the same time</li><li>Has excellent knowledge of customs and VAT legislation, regulations and customs developments.</li><li>Has a recognized diploma Customs consultant.</li><li>Is sparring partner for costumers and colleagues</li></ul><p></p><p>As part of our pre-employment screening, we ask you to provide a VOG</p><p>#LI-FR1</p><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p></p><p>Maersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
