Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Regional PMO to support strategic initiatives across, the United States, and Latin America within a complex global banking environment. This individual will serve as a key coordination and governance lead, ensuring effective communication, alignment, and execution across multiple business functions, technology teams, and regional stakeholders.
The Regional PMO will be responsible for driving project governance, facilitating decision-making processes, managing stakeholder communications, and providing leadership support across a portfolio of initiatives. The successful candidate will partner closely with business, technology, risk, compliance, operations, and vendor teams to track project progress, manage risks and dependencies, escalate critical issues, and ensure timely delivery of key program objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Fluent English communication skills
  • PMO experience in banking, IT, transformation, regulatory, or governance-related projects
  • Experience working in or with a Japanese megabank
  • Strong stakeholder coordination skills across multiple regions
  • Ability to prepare clear project status reports, meeting minutes, and executive-level materials
  • Understanding of Japanese corporate governance and decision-making processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MUFG or MUFG group entities a plus
  • Japanese language skills a plus
  • Spanish or Portuguese language skills a plus
  • Experience in banking technology, regulatory projects, infrastructure, core banking, payments, or operational risk a plus

Education:

•Bachelor's degree in a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience

The typical base pay range for this role is as follows:

  • New York / New Jersey: $161k – $200k

depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
