Process Engineering Manager, Delivery

Thermal constraints limit AI infrastructure, semiconductor equipment, power electronics, and defense systems. Alloy Enterprises removes those constraints. Enabled by the Stack Forging™ process, Alloy produces high-performance thermal components and cooling loop solutions — purpose-built for direct integration into AI, HPC, and mission-critical systems. Founded in 2020, Alloy has built the industry's leading thermal management platform for the applications that demand it most.

This role generally requires 4 days onsite per week.

What You’ll Do

As the Process Delivery Manager, you will lead engineering efforts to identify root causes, optimize processes, and help deliver high-performance, high-quality parts to Alloy’s customers ahead of schedule. This role is designed for a leader who is interested in managing a team while remaining a hands-on individual contributor. Your mission is to bridge the gap between engineering development and high-volume output, ensuring our unique manufacturing process scales seamlessly from prototype to mass production.

Who You Are

You are a resilient, tenacious engineering leader with a deep sense of ownership. Identifying and dismantling roadblocks is your core competency. You are comfortable navigating a high-growth environment and possess the technical grit and engineering judgment necessary to deliver. You understand how to deploy a team's resources effectively and can coach engineers to improve and execute. You will be the vital link that ensures we deliver successful customer outcomes while pushing the limits of the Stack Forging process.

Responsibilities

  • Lead & Mentor: Manage a high-performing team of Process Engineers, providing technical guidance and career development while maintaining a "hands-on" presence on the production floor.

  • Scale for Volume: Own the transition of parts to high-volume production, ensuring that components are designed and builds are optimized for throughput and cost.

  • Process Tuning & Optimization: Contribute across the process of Stack Forging, including laser cutting, metal-metal bonding, surface characterization/preparation, complex part geometry design, data and computational analysis, and material property optimization in the support of existing customer projects

  • Strategic Root Cause Analysis: Lead deep-dive investigations into issues, utilizing data and technical grit to identify root causes.

  • Cross-Functional Feedback: Act as the primary link between the production floor and the broader engineering organization to identify long-term improvements in testing and manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 7–10+ years of professional experience, or a PhD with 5+ years of experience (commensurate with a Lead Engineer level).

  • Manufacturing Expertise: Deep experience in mass-production environments and familiarity with manufacturing methods such as metal additive manufacturing, casting, machining, or brazing.

  • Relevant Experience: Previous hands-on experience with laser cutting, metallurgy, or surface chemistry.
