The work:

The Quality Assurance & Compliance Lead will support Accenture Federal Services in evaluating our internal and external business processes and procedures against consumer protection-related laws, rules, regulations, and other policies. You will create and manage our consumer protection-related quality assurance processes and develop and introduce effective controls concerning consumer protection.

Preferred experience includes an advanced degree in Law or Business Administration, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, relevant experience in federal student loan consumer protection or consumer protection concerning another consumer financial product, and strong collaboration skills. You will build and execute a mature quality assurance framework to ensure that consumer protection risks are identified, monitored, managed, documented, and mitigated.

The Quality Assurance Lead will be in charge of creating and implementing successful remediation programs and providing guidance and support to various teams with differing functions and diverse backgrounds and skill sets.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee compliance and consumer quality assurance in support of Accenture Federal Services.
  • Establish standards and implement procedures to ensure that operational and financial systems and processes effectively have consumer protection risks identified, monitored, managed, documented, and mitigated.
  • Plan and coordinate consumer protection risk assessments to recommend improvements to senior management.
  • Monitor and analyze deficiencies and irregularities to provide effective solutions.
  • Communicate with consumer protection-focused agencies to facilitate resolution of inquiries, examinations, or audits related to consumer-protection law.
  • Organize and supervise activities related to quality assurance and compliance.
  • Develop and oversee quality assurance training for the management and employees.
  • Report key concerns to senior management.

Here's what you need:

  • 3+ years of management experience within the compliance, quality assurance, legal, or a related field
  • Degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (master’s degree or above is preferred)
  • Experience interacting with statutes, regulations, and those who oversee their implementation
  • Knowledge of consumer protection law, how it is administered, and how organizations can or should balance competing stakeholders, standards, and interests in the consumer protection arena
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to form, mentor, and manage diverse and efficient teams
  • US Citizenship required

 

 

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
