Deputy IT Program Manager

Key Role:
Work with the Program Manager to establish and maintain processes for managing scope, timeline and budget during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks. Report project outcomes or risks to internal leadership and to the client, and escalate issues, as necessary. Monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables and lead a team of professionals in completing projects by a set deadline to complete client initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of experience managing and working on software development projects
Experience with applying Agile Methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
Experience with managing scope, meeting deadlines, and reconciliation and monitoring of the contract financial budget
Experience with staffing and allocating resources on large teams
Ability to engage with stakeholders to solicit feedback on performance and adjusting to ensure alignment to business objectives
Ability to balance multiple diverse workstreams and work collaboratively across teams
Ability to establish and maintain working relationships at all levels of the organization
Ability to communicate technical and non-technical information across various technical and functional stakeholders
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with Cloud computing
Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
Master's degree
PMP Certification
Scrum Master Certification
