We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Distribution Supervisor position based in Somerset, New Jersey.

The Supervisor leads resources to ensure customer orders are shipped on time and accurately for JOM Pharmaceuticals. They will exert influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization through coaching and partnering cross-functionally. Decision-making of the supervisor will affect the end-to-end supply chain. The Supervisor must be able to analyze a variety of complex problems while following/creating compliant practices and procedures. Supervisors will create an inclusive environment that develops a patient first mentality in serving our customers and continuously improving the operation. Other principal responsibilities include: establishing priorities, coaching and developing people, establishing and monitoring department operating budgets, maintain performance measures, ensure GMP compliance and safety, project initiation and development for continuous improvement, participate and/or lead cross-functional teams, including partners outside JOM.

Principal Responsibilities':

• Assess, develop and improve technical, interpersonal and business skills of direct reports with the PDP process. Solicit and provide continuous feedback to ensure the achievement of goals and objectives.
• Partner with JOM Training Department and J&J Learning Services to identify and develop trainings for associates. Facilitate training sessions in the areas of policies, procedures, and goals.
• Create, implement and supervise team performance metrics to achieve operational excellence.
• Coach associates to identify and resolve operation inefficiencies to improve process quality and metrics.
• Lead team empowerment initiatives to drive teams toward self-direction. Assess and reevaluate inter-departmental team structure to ensure open communication, balanced workload distribution, and team effectiveness. Suggest changes and implement with guidance.

Operational Responsibilities:

• Lead operational excellence throughout the distribution process through collaborative efforts within the Customer Service, Quality, and RTO (Regional Transportation Organization).
• Interact with Q&C, Planning, Manufacturing, and Marketing to resolve process and technical problems across the supply chain.
• Partner with Supervisors and teams across distribution to analyze and trend monthly statistics associated with the distribution metrics. Investigate and report all deviations to JOM Associates.
• Communicate issues and strategies to Operating Companies and Distribution management.
• Support marketing initiatives and new product launches
• Develop individuals and teams to align with GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Manage operational needs to within department budgets.
• Proactively examine and respond to customer needs and demands and take ownership for overall customer satisfaction.
• Ensure equipment maintenance plans are developed and completed.

Required:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Five years of practical experience is required.
