Job Description
Intelerad is hiring a Procurement Manager to help establish a formal vendor management program and procurement processes, including defining and documenting policies, processes, and workflows. Effective execution of this role will be critical in driving cost efficiencies and maintaining business operations. You will partner with senior business leaders across the organization to build and maintain procurement policies and processes that establish solid financial controls and allow us to better support our stakeholders internally and externally. You will be highly involved in the monthly close reporting cycle and supporting streamlined M&A integration as we continue to acquire new companies.
In this role, you do and see a lot! Attention to detail, strong work ethic, organization and communication skills are a must. We’re looking for a motivated self-starter that can work independently with little oversight. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of Excel, Netsuite and/or supporting PO / procurement software solutions, excellent judgment, and is excited to learn and tackle new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the procurement function at Intelerad
- Establish the procurement policy from start to finish across the organization
- Lead the procurement systems selection, implementation, and change management
- Develop a formal supplier management and performance program, including defining and documenting the vendor management policies, processes, and workflows
- Partner with internal stakeholders for vendor selection, negotiation, and contracting to deliver value, flexibility, and security
- Support strategic activities including purchase requisition and purchase order approval
- Review and maintain vendor master data, procurement systems and vendor relationships
- Use innovative thinking to improve internal processes - think automation and new efficiencies wherever possible!
- Work with the business to proactively identify areas for cost reduction, consolidation, and efficiencies.
- Develop and maintain procurement KPI’s (performance, savings, industry benchmarking)
- Provide reporting for management on vendor spend, contract renewals, and future commitments
- Drive process improvement and spend visibility throughout the organization
- Oversee contract and agreement close-outs, change orders, amendments, extensions, or renewals
- Monitor vendor performance
- Develop strategic and collaborative relationships with internal and external business partners
- Make data-driven recommendations and decisions
- Respond to and address ad hoc requests
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Procurement / Operations Management or related field required
- 7+ years of experience in the procurement field, with proven understanding of Purchasing, Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Travel & Expense systems and procedures
- Technical understanding of Finance systems, preferably Concur and NetSuite
- Experience supporting internal and external partners/suppliers
- Ability to think creatively, highly-driven, and self-motivated
- Ability to also work independently, with a high degree of accuracy, in a fast-paced environment
