We’re looking for an entrepreneurial seller who’s excited about making an impact in an early-stage startup with a promising growth trajectory. You will be joining Ninetailed at the right time. Since being founded in 2021, and after successfully closing our Seed round in 2022, we are currently experiencing strong demand for Ninetailed and are now looking to bring on an experienced Senior Account Executive to support our VP Sales and the rest of our GTM team with our growth plans. There are no limits with this role, and we expect this person to be a future commercial leader as Ninetailed continues to scale.

Tasks

About you

• You’ll be our first Account Executive, reporting directly to our VP of Sales and working closely with the rest of our executive team who consist of ex. founders and executives with a strong track record of growing companies like Contentful, Algolia etc.
• You will have a major impact on our revenue growth, working with a steady flow of inbound leads from some of the world’s largest brands
• You will manage a solution-based selling process with complex sales cycles that involve senior stakeholders from Marketing, Product and Engineering teams
• You will help our prospects, all the way from discovery to close, working on deals that range from mid-five to six figures
• You will have a major impact on how we build our sales process and playbook - by frequently iterating on strategies to see what works
• You will work closely with Marketing, Product and Partnerships to ensure that our learnings from customer interactions are reflected in our pitch and roadmap
• You will become an expert on the Ninetailed solution and have a deep understanding on the latest trends in personalization and composable marketing technologies

Requirements

About the role

• You have at least 3 years experience in a quota-carrying role in a startup, consistently being a top performer
• You have closed several large Enterprise accounts and six-figure deals
• You have strong experience in B2B SaaS, with a focus on composable/headless/API-first products in MarTech – you’re comfortable selling to a technical audience
• You take a value-based sales approach and love managing complex sales cycles
• You’re comfortable with numbers and like to use data to optimize your sales process
• You’re a high achiever, bring a lot of energy and love working in a fast-paced environment
• You’re entrepreneurial, a fast learner and like to get your hands dirty to figure things out
• You’re well organized and comfortable with managing multiple projects simultaneously – without compromising quality and attention to detail
• You have exceptional communication skills; verbal, written, and when presenting – you’re completely fluent / native in English
• You’re open to travel within Europe and to North America to represent Ninetailed at events and visit customers
