Student and Part-time Crew Member - KU Dining

WORK SCHEDULE:

Flexible; must work a minimum of 10 hrs./week

JOB DUTIES:

1. Provide excellent customer service to guests.
2. Serve high-quality, chef-crafted food.
3. Maintain cleanliness of food service and dining areas.
4. Working well with your dining teammates.
5. Other duties as assigned based on position and location.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Knowledge:

   • Familiarity with materials and methods used in food preparation, holding, and serving, including the use and care of kitchen utensils and equipment.
   • Understanding of health, sanitary, and safety standards and practices in food service.

2. Abilities:

   • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
   • Ability to maintain a friendly and professional demeanor while serving the public.
   • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as stooping, bending, extensive walking, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
