About Spectrum Eyewear Gallery
Serving the Michiana community since 2008, Spectrum Eyewear Gallery ensures a memorable experience through high-quality service, patient-centric care, and affordable vision solutions for all. Offering a wide range of optometric services, the practice specializes in the early detection and treatment of macular degeneration, glaucoma management, dry eye syndrome, and diabetic retinopathy. The cohesive team comprises one doctor, two Optometric Technicians, two Opticians, and two support staff. To support the business’ goals of growing and expanding services available to the community, the practice is looking to add a provider to the team.
The practice utilizes state-of-the-art vision care technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of eye diseases. The practice is well-appointed with automated optical equipment and behind-the-scenes functional technology, including AptDx, Optomap with and without autofluorescence, automated refraction systems, topography, visual field testing, and anterior segment video with image capabilities. Patients enjoy a family-friendly experience as they shop high-end frames and sunglasses from the optical gallery—plus, the Opticians provide personalized support to help patients select the proper frames tailored to medical needs and fashion preferences.
About the Optometrist Opening
Spectrum Eyewear Gallery is seeking an Optometrist interested in a long-term opportunity to practice full-scope optometric care as permitted by the state. You’ll have the unique opportunity to care for various patients and conditions, provide comprehensive vision services, recommend vision-enhancing products, and promote good eye health through patient education. On average, 14 to 20 patients are cared for daily.
The practice is looking for an inspiring professional who can deliver compassionate care and is willing to work hard to achieve shared practice goals. Additionally, someone with a strong interest in exploring subspecialties such as vision therapy, dry eye, glaucoma management, myopia control, scleral lenses, or another specialty will be an asset to the team. Future practice partnership or ownership is also available.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will want to continuously develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors and be willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.
Minimum qualifications:
· Valid Indiana license to practice optometry
Preferred qualifications:
· Strong interest in adding specialty services
