Cybersecurity Strategy and Policy Developer

OCT Consulting, LLC is an SBA-certified, 8(a) small business management and technology consulting firm that provides support to Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Cybersecurity, Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology.

OCT Consulting currently has an opening for an experienced Cybersecurity Strategy and Policy Developer to support a Federal government client.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

●        5+ years of experience performing roles in drafting/developing/interpreting policies, program strategy, methodology, and/or procedures

●        Two (2) years specializing in Risk Management, IT acquisitions, and/or Cybersecurity Risk Assessments

●        Proven experience providing Cybersecurity Strategy and Policy support to a federal government program office

●        Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to convey complex information concisely

●        Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and a capacity to coordinate collaboration efforts with key stakeholders

●        The ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

●        Flexibility to adapt to contingencies resulting from changes or modifications to the schedule and assessment requirements

●        Excellent oral and written communication skills

Education and Certifications

●        Bachelor’s degree

●        One of the following Professional Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP
