What You Will Do:

• Serve as a security point of contact to aid secure design in software and product development teams.
• Maintain security requirements that guide product development toward the achievement of applicable security standards and certifications.
• Participate in solution assessments across the solution lifecycle: concept, design, pre-deployment, post-deployment, end of life.
• Perform penetration testing and ethical hacking on Allegion products.
• Contribute to driving security and privacy into our development process and the execution of security operations inclusive of threat modeling, monitoring and incident response.
• Understand and analyze emerging security threats, determining applicability to Allegion products and proactively work mitigations.
• Participate in technology and security architecture reviews and serve as a trusted advisor to global software and product development teams on architecture and control design.
• Drive security initiatives by example using knowledge and compassionate communication to educate and train partner teams on security topics..
• Approximately 20% travel may be expected.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Excellent interpersonal skills required to influence and partner with all levels across the enterprise on matters of product development, software development and cloud deployment/operations including risk mitigations.
• High degree of learning agility required to quickly gain visibility across Allegion’s global software and product portfolio.
• Highly technical practitioner with working knowledge of delivering secure products and services globally using modern technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or equivalent education/experience required. Related industry certifications are preferred.
• Prefer 4+ years experience in relevant field.
• Preferred candidates will have experience delivering results successfully in a diverse, global, and fast-paced environment.
