JOB SUMMARY
Cresco Labs is seeking an Associate Manager, Regional Operations Adherence to join the Sunnyside team in the East. This leader will be responsible for education, auditing and supporting all operations that support state regulations. This individual will report to the Manager, Regional Operational Excellence. Our ideal candidate must be a team player that understands how to navigate many different state regulations.
CORE JOB DUTIES
- Supports in-store inspections though audits, education, and processes. (Internal and external)
- Collects, reviews and audits self-inspections completed by the Store team.
- Supports Retail with education and oversight to ensure each location follows the state regulations and all “Work Instructions”
- Monitors inventory losses and discrepancies and gives approval to resolve to store teams.
- Ensure a Comprehensive Inventory Audit happens per state regulations
- Supports Government Affairs and Legal with all state communication around discrepancies and deficiencies.
- Supports and communicates all routine requests to the State (e.g. vendor events, outreach, local marketing, etc.)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- Minimum of 3 years of compliance/operations experience, ideally in the regulated cannabis industry or another regulated industry, such as alcohol, tobacco, or manufacturing
- Must have the ability to develop and foster strong working relationships throughout all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills; the ability to either predict and / or identify and drive problem/issue to resolution in partnership with stakeholders.
- Excellent people and communication skills (verbal and written), with ability to successfully explain complex matters and provide persuasive support for positions with internal stakeholders, outside partners, and to communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to successfully manage a high-volume workload with tight deadlines
- Detail-oriented and ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities
- Capable of handling confidential information discreetly and professionally
