Electrical Engineering Intern

Flowserve Corporation is a multinational company, and one of the largest suppliers of industrial and environmental machinery such as pumps, valves, end face mechanical seals, automation, and services to the power, oil, gas, chemical and other industries.

Role Summary:

Flowserve is looking for a motivated technician to work in the Advance Product development (APD) group. This technician will assist the Production support team with RMAs/RCAs analysis and also provide support to Electrical Engineers with all aspects of product design, development, and testing.

This is an internship, to work for 3-4 months. The selected candidate must be able to start immediately.

Location: Springville, UT

Responsibilities

• Prototype builds – Soldering and assembly.
• Validation testing of systems and individual components
• Root cause analysis (RCA) support
• Troubleshoot returns and generate technical reports
• Electronic component lifecycle management support      

Requirements

• Currently working towards or recently completed BS EE or BS EET or closely related field.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, printed circuit board layouts, and bill of materials.
• Proficient with Office 365 Suite tools
• Proficient with using digital multimeters and oscilloscopes.

Preferred Experience / Skills: 

• LabView programming
• Printed circuit board methodology and tools
• Arduino programming and applications
• Analog and Digital testing methods including data acquisition hardware.
