Job Description

The Manufacturing Sciences- Drug Product team is responsible for serving as the Technical SME for Drug Products at Thousand Oaks site and process experts in the manufacture process. Processes involved to manufacture these drug products involve Formulation/ Filling/ Lyophilization, capping and packaging. The team is also responsible in providing technical support for new Tech Transfer products at Thousand Oaks site.

Job Description:

  • Gain exposure and provide support to technical and/or cross-functional teams to conduct technology transfer, process optimization, and investigations
  • Learn and support manufacturing investigations, monitoring of process performance through Continued Process Verification (CPV), product complaints management
  • Learn and support the development of process models/CPV improvement initiatives, and dashboard creations/deployment
  • Prepare and execute study protocols and reports
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • This position will be Fully Onsite and require 4+ days in the Thousand Oaks, CA office per week.
  • Must be pursuing an Undergraduate Degree in any Scientific discipline
  • Must possess General IT fluency
  • Basic understanding of computer skills including MS Office (PowerPoint, Words, Excel)
  • Internet skills including use of e-mails, group messaging and information gathering
  • Highly reliable and a strong team player
  • Flexible with an attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Internship Eligibility

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
  • Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2025 or later
  • The internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (June 2nd- August 29th) or (June 16th - August 22nd)
    • The intern must be able to commit to one of these time frames
  • Able to work full time 40 hours a week during internship dates
  • Takeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program
