Scope of Position
The Materials Administrative Assistant provides clerical and administrative support to the Materials Department. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate data, assisting with inventory and materials tracking processes, and supporting daily operations through the use of SAP and Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with systems and data in a fast-paced environment.
This position reports to the Materials Supervisor, is onsite and is based in Franklin, NH.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
Provide administrative and clerical support to the Materials team
Enter, update, and maintain data within SAP accurately and timely
Utilize Microsoft Excel to track, analyze, and report on materials and inventory data
Assist with purchase orders, inventory records, and materials documentation
Support internal communication by coordinating information between departments
Maintain organized digital and physical records
Assist with reporting, audits, and process documentation as needed
Perform general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry
Comply with all safety and company policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
1+ years of administrative, clerical, or support experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
Experience working with SAP (or similar ERP systems) preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including data entry, basic formulas, and spreadsheet management)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
