Senior Corporate Sales Representative

GitHub helps companies and organizations succeed by allowing them to build better software together. The revenue team is looking for a Senior Corporate Sales Representative to qualify, hunt, and close new customers for GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Advanced Security. The Corporate Sales team plays a pivotal role in the acquisition of new customers across the entire GitHub stack. The ideal candidate will have the aptitude and passion to become a master of GitHub’s product capabilities, underlying technology, and competitive advantages. Most importantly, the candidate will help our customers achieve their strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a territory plan
- Prospect, build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Primary interface to prospects and customers; drive buying process including answering questions and providing information
- Working with customers to communicate how GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Advanced Security can fit with their business needs
- Partner with the Solutions Engineering team to ensure technical accuracy and delivery to customers
- Assist with demos and trials
- Providing quotes and negotiating close
- Work with GitHub tools and technology to keep accurate prospect and customer information and forecast information
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ year of proven hunting sales experience (SaaS/cloud B2B)
- 1+ year of closing experience with a strong customer orientation, dedication, and passion for delivering a great customer experience
- SalesForce experience
- Ability to come into the San Francisco, CA office twice a week (Wednesday & Thursdays)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Git and GitHub workflows
- Experience selling a technical product to Engineering, IT, and Security teams
- Top performing SaaS Account Executive with a track record of exceeding quota and ranked at the top of your team
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to become deeply fluent in GitHub's technology and the industry

Minimum hourly rate of $38.82/hour to maximum $38.82/hour.
In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual's base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
Location: In this role, you will be working onsite in GitHub’s San Francisco, California Office.
