Sr. PRODUCT ENGINEER

<p>This position offers a great opportunity to work on industry leading semiconductor devices, targeted for broad applications in Automotive and Industrial markets.  In this role, you’ll be a member of New Product Development team, tasked with supporting product lines and business P&amp;Ls on new product development activities, including defining Analog/Digital DfT and test strategies, developing low-cost test solutions for complex Analog, Mixed Signal, and Digital roadmap products on ATE platforms, and productizing ICs in-line with business goals and growth projections. Knowledge and experience with software development using of C++ / C / Python / JAVA is necessary. Candidate should know ATE platform architecture and programming language to develop low level ATE code for Analog / Mix Signal blocks.  End goal is to design and productize deep Analog and Mix Signal test automated solutions, enabling organization benchmarks in quality, efficient code, and test-cost goals. </p> <ol> <li>Own and drive new product development across various businesses and product lines within the BU. </li> <li>Drive best-in-class DfTs (Analog / Digital BiST solutions) for benchmark Cost-of-Test. </li> <li>Own post-silicon Si bring-up, validation, characterization, and qualification activities and execute to fastest time-to-market. </li> <li>Own entitlement goals for product execution, overall product cost (yields, test-times, multi-sites), and product quality. </li> <li>Define, own, and impact continuous upkeep and maintenance of test program generation utilities and standard test method libraries.</li> <li>Must be able to update / modify existing code with innovation and improvisation focused on efficiency and test-cost reduction.</li> <li>Act as an interface between ATE vendor, BU PE and Design team to define test automation requirements and checklists.</li> <li>Good understanding on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) system architecture (ETS800, T2K, IFlex etc.) and able to work with vendor to develop low level automation code.</li> </ol> <p>Good IC and test knowledge and background, across digital, analog, RF, and mixed-signal, along with knowledge of ATE platforms, DfT strategies and test methods, and test instrumentation requirements for various Analog, Mixed-Signal, and Digital tests is critical. Having additional experience and knowledge of high-speed interfaces (PCIe, Serdes, LPDDR, CSI/DSI, etc.) is considered a plus.  Knowledge of high-voltage (&gt;1kV) test requirements and careabouts is a must.  Must have prior hands-on experience working DfT, ATE Test Equipment for IC testing, and good understanding of ATE system architectures.   </p> <ul> <li>BSEE with minimum &gt;10 yrs of experience working Product / Test in Analog, Mixed Signal, Digital space.</li> <li>Experience working with ATE platforms.</li> <li>Proficient in multiple ATE software coding languages including but not limited to C/C++, Python, Java.</li> <li>Strong communication and leadership skills, working with cross-functional teams across multiple different internal development and factory sites. </li> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills – energetic, motivated, and self-driven.</li> <li>Demonstrate ability to work well within a global team environment with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Strong organizational skills; demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks.</li> </ul> <p></p> <b>onsemi </b><span>(Nasdaq: ON) is driving disruptive innovations to help build a better future.
