Our platforms are highly-performant, deployed at scale, and setting new standards for enabling effective advertising while protecting user privacy. Ads ML Experimentation team is seeking an experienced Software Engineer who will help drive innovation. This is a hands-on role for developing & supporting product features. This role requires partnering with cross-functional teams to effectively coordinate the complex interdependencies inherent in application development. A successful candidate has strong technical skills and is eager to create intuitive user experiences; they have a keen eye for the details that surprise and delight our customers. While understanding our product features, you will perform rigorous analysis, measure performance and make data-driven decisions.

Description

Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to design, implement and evolve the user facing features of the multivariate experimentation platform. Promote experimentation best practices across the organization. Execute on the experimentation roadmap and future integrations with data-driven prioritization. Exercise strong judgment and make thoughtful decisions with ambiguous situations. Striking the right balance between short-term wins vs. long-term success based on various constraints. You will join and contribute to a culture that emphasizes observability and understandability, reliability, resiliency, simplicity, reusability, extensibility, scalability, velocity and productivity. We are one team, nurturing each other’s growth and supporting each other in delivering for our customers and Apple.

Minimum Qualifications

2+ years of experience in web application development with an in-depth understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Experience with software development using one of the following programming languages: Java, Scala, Rust, GoLang, Python.
Experience with ReactJS, or other Javascript frameworks like AngularJS, Vue JS etc.
Exposure to technologies such as NodeJS, Redux, Typescript, Webpack, NPM etc.
Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
Excellent communication, social and presentation skills.
Desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Curious business attitude with a proven ability to seek projects with a sense of ownership.
Skilled at operating in a cross-functional organization.
Ability to condense complex concepts and analysis into clear and concise takeaways that drive action.
Experience Collaborating with UX designers to prototype the user experience during the design phase.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $214,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
