As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, support site access procedures, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and professional communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential verification, and security-related policies at an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, facilities, and operational zones.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Document visitor activity, deliveries, vehicle access, and unusual incidents through logs, reports, and other required site documentation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual conditions, access concerns, and other security-related issues in varying work environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
