A Day in the Life

As a member of the IC Design Team, you will be involved in all phases of product development, including definition, digital design, design for testability, test hardware and software design, hands-on debug, characterization, manufacturing release under a heavily regulated quality and regulatory standard operating procedures. You will be an important part of an experienced team whose goal is to deliver the highest quality designs and support test application team to test integrated circuits for use in life saving medical devices

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

•    Contribute to digital IC Design on projects
•    Contribute to maintaining a structured, repeatable, documented DFT flow for use in a regulated environment
•    Generate DFT design for assigned System on Chip (SOC)/Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) based on product DFT requirements
•    Work as IC Design DFT Lead to structure DFT flow for optimized execution across all supported products
•    Support Test Engineers on Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) to debug vector failure to root cause
•    Ensure all DFT design implementation meet the product DFT coverage goals
•    Maintain excellent communication with Design, Test, and product engineering to deliver on Design and DFT deliverables
•    Responsible for design control procedures and generating compliant Design and DFT documentation

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, and or Computer Engineering
• 7 years of relevant experience including experience in SOC and ASIC designs, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of the same.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Excellent understanding of digital design flow both front and backend
• Excellent knowledge of latest state-of-the-art trends in DFT and test and defect mechanisms.
• Able to perform as an individual contributor or as a technical lead.
• Strong understanding of JTAG protocols, Full Scan, Scan Compression, Scan IDDQ and At-speed, Logic BIST, Memory BIST testing.
• Experience with Mentor and Cadence Genus/Modus DFT development and debug tools.
• Skillful at gate level simulation and Static Timing Analysis.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills that enable quick root cause findings.
• Proficient in Python, Perl and TCL scripting languages
• Positive, optimistic and able to lead as a Digital Design and DFT subject matter expert.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$130,400.00 - $195,600.00
