Sales Support Representative
Overview
As a Sales Support Representative at Stryker, you will play a key role in supporting orthopedic surgeries and elevating the customer experience across the territory. You will provide independent technical support for both manual and robotic products—ensuring issues are resolved quickly, cases run smoothly, and customers feel confident relying on you as a trusted resource.
In this role, you will manage daily account operations, support case preparation and inventory, maintain technical expertise through ongoing training, and collaborate closely with Sales Representatives and Managers. You will contribute directly to sales enablement efforts by supporting customer relationship development, learning upselling strategies, and gaining exposure to account management within the operating room.
Because customer needs don’t follow a Monday–Friday schedule, this role includes on-call responsibilities, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure consistent support and timely response to urgent technical needs.
What You Will Do
Provide independent, timely technical support and troubleshoot manual and robotic product issues to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Participate in sales meetings and support sales development and customer relationship initiatives.
Confidently manage daily schedules across assigned accounts, ensuring efficient workflows and proactive account management.
Maintain required training, certifications, and ongoing technical expertise across manual and robotic platforms.
Collaborate with team members to align schedules, share insights, and support sales opportunities.
Manage inventory, instrumentation, and case preparation to ensure seamless product application.
Learn from and partner with Sales Representatives and Sales Managers to develop upselling and account management skills used inside the Operating Room.
Support customer education, demonstrations, and product familiarity as directed by the territory’s needs.
Perform on-call duties—including evenings, weekends, and holidays—to support urgent technical needs and ensure continuous customer care.

What You Need
Required
Mako Robot certification and 2 years of Joint Replacement sales or clinical on-the-job experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of professional and/or relevant experience
OR
Associate degree with 8 years of professional and/or relevant experience
OR
High school diploma with 10 years of professional and/or relevant experience.
Trained on all applications based on clinical needs of the territory
