- Keep plant machinery and mechanical equipment in good repair
- Examine machines to diagnose, troubleshoot, dismantle machines, replace defective parts, reassemble machines and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation
- May occasionally make replacement parts
- Cleaning filters and elements and completing preventative maintenance on coolant systems and mist collection components
- Changing or adding oils and lubricants to production equipment
- Maintaining a clean and organized tools and maintenance area
- Read, interpret, and follow instructions from operation manuals
- Comply with OSHA regulations and safety standards
- Work with OEM machine service to solve and repair machine issues
- Ability work under limited supervision with minimal technical guidance and strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.+
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with co-workers and supervisors
- 3 years of preventive and proactive industrial maintenance experience, preferred but not required
- Strongly preferred candidates have previous experience with CNC equipment repair. Highly preferred candidate has experience with grinders such as; Walter, Ewag, Rollamatic, ANCA, Waida, etc.
- General knowledge and skill with basic hand tools
- Willingness to bring new ideas and potential efficiencies to the management team
