Responsibilities
How do I make an impact on my team?
- Create and maintain program reports and key performance indicators
- KPI and Program Summary Updates
- Medical Specialty Program Support
- Support the mission and conduct themselves in a professional and responsible manner while abiding by all privacy and confidentiality requirements
- Follow all corporate and departmental policies and procedures
- Maintain scheduled hours and be flexible to meet the needs of the department. Be available to work 40 hours per week and, if asked, some occasional overtime
- Recognize, suggest, and assist with process improvements
- Display critical thinking and problem-solving competencies
- Assist with special projects
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
- Perform duties assigned by supervisor and department mentors. Intern duties will vary in each department
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
What our team expects from you?
- High school degree or equivalent required
- Must be enrolled in an accredited 2 or 4 year college for the upcoming school year
- Must have at least 1 year of coursework completed
- Must be 18 years or older
- Experience working in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred
- The intern role is considered a learning opportunity and as such, no specific experience is required. Preference may be given to candidates with work experience or education paths determined desirable by the department each intern supports
- Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
- The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
