Reporting to the Supervisor, Academic Delivery Support, the position handles planning, coordination and support for curriculum maintenance. Plans the operations schedule and serves as a resource for members of the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
Coordinates and manages all aspects of curriculum maintenance, including reviewing and producing learning modules, organizing Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs), managing copyright issues and achieving program objectives.
Ensures that the curriculum creation, change and approval processes run smoothly.
Participates in unit planning meetings.
Organizes workshops to review the program.
Updates databases needed to maintain the curriculum.
Serves as a resource and provides advice and support to Faculty members with questions on how to submit curriculum changes.
Provides administrative support to the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee. Offers expert advice on questions related to regulations and procedures, to ensure they comply with University policies.
Designs, implements and reviews work processes and procedures, to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Develops procedures and suggests policies for implementation, along with an operations schedule. Determines the resources needed to meet deadlines. Plans, develops and applies work procedures and tools to improve service performance and quality.
Helps create reports for use by committees and for accreditation purposes.
What you will bring:
Knowledge of management principles usually acquired through postsecondary studies or three years of experience in an academic setting
Knowledge of university undergraduate programs, particularly undergraduate medical education
Experience in managing projects and priorities
Ability to work well under pressure and organize work according to strict deadlines (strong organizational skills)
Experience in problem-solving
Extensive experience in communication and administrative writing in English and French
Strong skills in using cimputer systems and software needed to perform duties
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong sense of discretion
Bilingual (French and English)
