Summary

Other Conditions: Position is a temporary casual hire position and offers no benefits; hours not exceeding 19.75 hours per week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Reports to the Director of Digital Media and the Producer/Director of UH Athletics for streaming operations.
2. Operates the Black Magic/or Equivalent replay system for games/competitions.
3. Create highlight packages and control instant replays during live game play.
4. Support official challenges with replay operations.
5. Responsible for replay system and accompanying equipment;
6. Assists in the setup, maintenance, and breakdown of equipment as assigned. 
7. Troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during game broadcast.
8. Maintain current knowledge and understanding of the rules of the assigned sport.
9. Responds to situations that involve a great deal of pressure and are time sensitive.
10. Present an appropriate and professional appearance for an outdoor work environment.

1. Attends games/competitions on work weekdays, weekends, holidays and nights when needed as many events are scheduled on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Knows, recognizes, and complies with the laws, policies, rules, and regulations governing the University of Hawai?i and its employees, and the rules of the NCAA and affiliated conferences as now constituted or as may be amended in the future.  Immediately advise the Director of Athletics or Designee if you have reasonable cause to believe violations, whether by employees or students, have occurred or will occur. 
2. Maintains confidentiality to include but not limited to information, files and records that the incumbent may obtain or possess, in accordance with federal and state laws and University of Hawai?i policies.
3. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree or any equivalent combination of education and/or professional work experience which provides the required education, knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated.
2. Basic understanding of video editing and package building.
3. Strong organization and attention to detail;
4. Knowledge of rules, regulations, and replay software for assigned sports programs.
5. Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays and nights when needed as many events are scheduled on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
6. Must be able to work in an environment that is fast paced, time sensitive, and outdoors.
