Job Description

As a Customer Quality Engineer, you will make a positive impact by being responsible for: 

• Being the Champion of Continuous Improvement activities.
• Ensuring that a root cause is identified correctly and containment, corrective and preventive actions are implemented immediately.
• Interacting with VusionGroup customers to resolve product issues.
• Acting as liaison to Engineering, Supplier Quality, and Quality Management team for resolution of issues.
• Identifying deviations from quality standards and taking appropriate corrective actions as identified through monitoring customer metrics.
• Collaborating with Engineering, Supplier Quality, and Operations teams to identify opportunities for process improvements that enhance product quality and customer experience.
• Actively facilitating RMA activities as appropriate with customers.
• Participating at customer sites as needed to train, troubleshoot, and facilitate actions.

Qualifications

Qualifications we’re looking for.

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role within manufacturing/customer interfacing engineering.
• Electronics Manufacturing industry experience is nice to have
• Experience in monitoring customer metrics ( NPS)
• Familiarity with quality management systems, methodologies, and tools.
• Experience in troubleshooting and working directly with customers.

Skills

• Excellent working knowledge on process monitoring and continuous improvement of processes 
• Proficiency in using statistical analysis.
• Expertise in Root Cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.

Abilities 

• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to convey complex information in a clear and understandable manner. 
• Ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines and work within a virtual global team environment. 

Education 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• Six sigma certification a plus.  ASQ, CQI
