For a recent graduate or experienced O.D. that is looking for an exciting, full-scope experience far beyond the typical refracting optical setting, AVC is where you want to be. We are offering a competitive salary ($195k including a generous productivity bonus of $20-35k a year), along with outstanding health coverage, 401k, and ample time off.

What you'll do:

As an Optometrist in this flourishing practice, you can expect to see about 50% routine eye exams and 50% medical visits. This consists of full-scope management of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular health, children’s exams, dry eye treatment (amniotic membranes, serum tears, scleral lenses, punctal plugs, gland expression, etc), binocular vision, specialty contact lenses (CRTs, RGPs, Hybrids, and Sclerals) as well as infections and inflammations. With access to cutting-edge, high-tech equipment such as OCT, Humphrey VF, Oculus Keratograph (dry eye testing), quantify MPod (macular pigment optical density analyzer), iCare IOP (no-puff) device, Optomap, Neurolens testing, and Firefly slit lamp video imaging display systems plus a Miboflo unit for our dry eye spa, you'll confidently conduct comprehensive eye tests, ensuring precise diagnoses and tailored solutions. Working closely with a team of talented professionals, including opticians and administrative staff, you'll collaborate seamlessly to create a seamless and compassionate experience for each patient. The position offers full-time employment with an expectation of seeing approximately 25 patients daily.
