Lead Director - Professional Growth and Learning Consulting

The Lead Director of Professional Growth and Learning Consulting will spearhead a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing professional skills and driving career development within the technology organization. This role will involve consulting with various departments to assess their learning needs and develop tailored programs that foster a culture of continuous improvement. The Lead Director will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative learning strategies that empower colleagues to unlock their potential and lead with confidence.

Job Accountabilities:

• Lead and manage a team focused on professional growth and learning initiatives.

• Collaborate with technology departments to identify learning needs and develop customized training programs.

• Design and implement comprehensive learning strategies that align with organizational goals.

• Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development across the organization.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and make data-driven improvements.

• Serve as a thought leader in professional development, staying current with industry trends and best practices.

• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance leadership and professional skills.

• Manage budgets and resources for learning and development initiatives, as needed.

Location: Woonsocket, RI hybrid schedule highly preferred. Will consider 100% remote.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant experience 

• Proven experience in a leadership role within learning and development or organizational development.

• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

• Demonstrated ability to assess learning needs and develop effective training programs.

• Experience as a people manager with direct reports

• Experience managing teams and driving performance in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in coaching, training, or instructional design.

• Experience in the technology sector or with technology-related learning initiatives.

• Familiarity with e-learning platforms and digital learning tools.

• Strong analytical skills to assess program effectiveness and ROI.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. 4 additional years of relevant work experience will be accepted in lieu of a Degree.

• Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$100,000.00 - $231,540.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
