Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled User Terminal System Architect to join our team and play a critical role in developing the definition, the specification, the validation, transfer to production and type approval strategy of some of the user terminals in Eutelsat Group’s terminal portfolio . In this position, you’ll work closely with the systems engineering, the technical and commercial product management and the system integration program management groups of the organisation and external partners , contributing directly to our ongoing projects and initiatives. Who You Are:

An experienced professional with systems engineering, technical product management, regulatory certification, end to end system integration and troubleshooting as well as technical development program management background ideally in the Satellite Communications industry.

 

What You’ll Do:

The candidate will be part of the Eutelsat Group User Terminal (UT) Engineering, Development and Production team within the Eutelsat Group Systems Engineering group.

The candidate will contribute to Eutelsat efforts, work with systems engineering, system development program and product development teams (internal and external to Eutelsat Group) and support the recruitment efforts where applicable to build the Eutelsat Group teams that will ultimately own the following capabilities:

• Represent the Eutelsat Group Systems Engineering team in User Terminal (UT) Development, Delivery, related work packages, and where applicable, own such work packages.
• Contribution to ESA Review meeting, milestones and WP deliverables, according to ECSS standards
• Liaise and work with the IRIS2 Technical Product Engineer to ensure the PRD is aligned with the technical specifications of the UT for the development
• Provide UT System Engineering authority support to development and system integration and certification work packages
• Participate in the definition of the future generation user terminal architectural blocks and interfaces  Work with design authorities and stakeholders to review UT subsystems and components selections against specifications/requirements/standards
