About the Role

The Program Manager- Tolling Technology and Data will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of tolling technology within our dynamic team. Under the guidance of the Senior Program Manager of Tolling System Technology and Data Analytics, the candidate will focus on exploring emerging technologies, analyzing large datasets, and supporting the development and optimization of toll systems. This role involves conducting advanced data analysis to provide insights for improving system performance, identifying trends, and supporting strategic decision-making. The Program Manager will also research and evaluate new technologies and industry best practices that can enhance the toll program and drive continuous innovation in system design and functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Lead the analysis of toll data to identify trends, system performance metrics, and opportunities for improvement. Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations that effectively communicate insights to stakeholders and drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Technology Research & Evaluation: Stay at the forefront of toll technology by researching new trends, tools, and innovations in the industry. Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential to improve operational efficiency, system reliability, and customer experience.
  • System Performance Monitoring: Analyze system performance data, identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas of concern, and provide recommendations to optimize system functionality and improve service delivery.
  • Database Management & Reporting: Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of databases used to store and manage toll data. Develop automated reporting systems to support operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborative Development: Work closely with the Program Manager and cross-functional teams to support the development and testing of new system features or upgrades, ensuring that new technologies align with organizational needs and industry standards.
  • Advanced Analytics: Conduct statistical analyses and predictive modeling to anticipate future trends, improve system forecasting, and provide actionable recommendations for system improvements.
  • Technical Documentation: Review and develop technical documentation for new technologies, system processes, and analytical methodologies, ensuring clarity and ease of use for stakeholders.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to evaluate new technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and performance goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for automating data collection, analysis, and reporting processes to drive efficiencies and improve the speed and accuracy of decision-making.
  • Policy and Business Rules: Assist in establishing policies, procedures, and business rules for toll collection systems.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in tolling, transportation systems, financial transaction processing, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in data analysis, dashboarding, and database design/utilization.
  • Proficiency with analytical/automation tools, including SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills applied to complex technology initiatives.

 

Desired Qualifications:

 

  • Demonstrated experience in the area of data analytics and database implementation/maintenance/optimization, including data normalization
