PCG Consulting Group is a minority-owned consulting firm based in Chicago, IL, specializing in healthcare IT solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled EHR Reporting Consultant with expertise in Epic, Cerner, and Meditech systems, as well as proficiency in SQL and Oracle databases.

Position Overview: 

As an EHR Reporting Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reporting solutions within various Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms, including Epic, Cerner, and Meditech. You will collaborate closely with healthcare providers and IT teams to understand reporting requirements, extract data from EHR databases using SQL and Oracle queries, and create customized reports and dashboards to support clinical, operational, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications.
• Extract and manipulate data from EHR databases using SQL and Oracle queries.
• Design and develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to meet business needs.
• Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for reporting-related issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in EHR reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Epic, Cerner, and Meditech EHR systems.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Oracle database management.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Epic, Cerner, or Meditech modules.
• Experience with healthcare data standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
